Blaster for the Rock Group

NCC is increasing its market share in blasting work in southern Norrland, which means we urgently need to strengthen our rock group with competent and experienced employees. NCC Industry Rock Group currently consists of about 75 employees. The group has 40 drilling rigs and operates from Malmö in the south to Kiruna in the north. We are one of Sweden's largest above-ground blasting teams.

The job as a blaster means that you independently plan, execute, document, and are responsible for above-ground blasting in both quarries and contract work. As a blaster, you are an important piece of the puzzle in our effort to maintain our position as the leading supplier in terms of quality, performance, and environment. You will often be our face to the outside world, and therefore it is important that you, as a person, have a natural ability to nurture relationships with our customers and suppliers. You will work in a large geographical area, mainly in Dalarna/Gävleborg, so we prefer that you live in this area.

You have completed a basic course in blasting technology, and it is an advantage if you have previously been a responsible blaster on some contract projects. Even if you have less experience but a strong interest in the profession, you may be the one we are looking for. Computer skills and a B driver's license are required.

You are a responsible and self-motivated person who enjoys driving your work forward independently. You understand the importance of your contribution to a successful outcome. Promoting a good working environment and prioritizing safety is a given for you.

The employment is a permanent position, with a probationary period applied if necessary.

We are proud to offer our employees great development opportunities in an exciting work environment. We have a good variety of workplaces where you will face different types of challenges and quickly have the opportunity for responsibility.

With us, you influence your development.

If you want to know more about the position, please contact Site Manager Jim Jonsson at 070 660 72 01. Selection is ongoing, so please apply as soon as possible, but no later than 2025-04-20. Register your application and CV below.

In accordance with NCC's safety culture, we conduct background checks on our final candidates. Additional checks will also be made according to MSB's regulations - application for participants in handling explosive materials.

Welcome with your application!

Build with us and get the industry's best colleagues

At NCC, we are driven to continue developing, whether it is about our construction projects or our personal skills. Every day we drive the industry's most exciting and complex construction projects forward in close collaboration between our employees, partners, and customers. With us, you are a significant employee who contributes to the landmarks that define our cities and communities. Here, our employees take an active role in a corporate culture based on stable values and behaviors for a safe and secure workplace. Our combined expertise and diverse backgrounds make a difference.
